Happy Fall Y'all!

I think the title says it all. The weather is getting cooler, and the leaves are beginning to change. It's Fall - at least in the northern hemisphere that is.

When the weather is like this, Jeffrey Walter and I like to take short (and long) road trips to the mountains, and you know "road trip" is one of my favorite phrases. We've been to the north Georgia mountains numerous times, along with North Carolina, Tennessee and the Blue Ridge Parkway - all the way to Virginia. The Cherahala Skyway, The Foothills Parkway and the Natchez Trace are 3 more scenic routes that we have also traveled to enjoy the scenery - with or without a lot of leaf color. We don't even have to go far sometimes - our own yard and neighborhood can display some spectacular colors. And of course, it's always a good excuse for finding new and tasty places to eat.

Where do you enjoy going when cooler temps arrive? Do you like road trips? Do you seek out Fall colors?
